Colorful, detoxing, boosting – Juicing!

I’ve got this flu slash cold slash somethingorother hanging out in my body and I’m getting more and more annoyed with it. It’s like it’s on the verge of breaking out and becoming a fullblown flu-thingy and it’s making me feel tired and my throat feels swollen and sore and I’ve had a bit of a headache for like two days now.

Sanyway… I got up this morning, later than usual because I’ve been so sleepy lately. Got right to having some breakfast.

10:10am Breakfast. Soy yoghurt with ground flaxseed and a kiwi, organic cherries and green tea.

After breakfast I did some blog reading and then mom and I biked to the grocery store and then to the mall to pick up some stuff. We got some food and booze for Saturday which is this big holiday here in Sweden when everyone basically celebrates that summer is here (which it so totally isn’t considering it’s been freezing cold and rain forever!) We’re having a dinner, my brother and his girlfriend are coming and his girlfriend’s mother too. It’ll be nice. I’m still trying to decide what I want to eat then, everyone is having non-veggie stuff so we’ll see what I do.

At the mall mom and I went to the juice bar (yup, the place I really want to work at)! Mom got a mango smoothie and I got a juice!

2:40pm Juice lunch! I had a Body Fuel Detox-juice which was fresh squeezed apple, carrots, beets, lemon and ginger. Figured this was the perfect fix to try to kick this cold out of my body!

We ran some more errands before we biked back home and then we walked down to the local grocery store to pick up some more things. Then it was time to make some dinnuh!

5:05pm Dinner. I was going to go with a salad today but then just couldnt be without my wrap. I had some smoked tofu in it today again along with lettuce, cucumber and Tofutti cream cheese. On the side, a small crisp green apple.

Then, this evening I had an overload of ice cream while watching Bones with mom.

8pm Ice cream overload! Vanilla and vanilla/berry ice cream with a carob sauce I made using carob powder mixed with soy milk. I had a double portion of what is pictured.

And that’s about it. Now I’m about to do some more blog surfin’ and then I’m hitting the sack. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and then I’ll probably be going in to town to meet my friend M for coffee, then running some errands and that about sums up my plans for tomorrow, thus far. I really hope I can get in some good exercise too since I didn’t have time to go for my powerwalk/run today. The forecast says rain though, I’ll cry if it does. ‘fo sho.

100 crunches

  1. sorry you arent feeling well! that ice cream bowl looks delicious. sometimes you just need a good huge bowl of ice cream to at least make your mind feel better when your body doesnt feel so great :)

  3. All your fruit looks so fresh! So glad you had a happy juicy juice to get you all nice and cleansed out! I’m sorry you’re under the weather (as opposed to…over the weather?)! I’ve really enjoyed your comments about your experiences with raw foods. Take care of yourself Miss Teen! (I used to have a boss named Tina and I always called her Tee, so…lol)

  6. Wraps are so delicious…I was SERIOUSLY obsessed for awhile with them because they are so fast and easy and amazing to eat! And overloading on ice cream is like a hobby to me…espesh drenched in toppings! ahaha!

    And yes please come visit..there are like 200 irish boys running around the city and you can definitely have one, two, or how ever many you would like!
