Hey peeps! Don’t forget to holla at me if you want the adress to my other blog that’s all about me, fashion, my life as fashion editor and stylist and random stuff I find bananas amazing. Just leave me a comment and I’ll email you the adress!
Smooches saucy ladies!
Naturally Thin by Bethenny Frankel
I just ordered this book today. I’ve been watching The Real House Wives of New York and have grown absolutely obsessed with the series. I think it’s hillarious and ridiculous and just crazy! Bethenny Frankel is probably my favorite housewive because she’s so honest and owns up to everything she says.
I’ve heard a lot about this book in the foodie-blogworld and reading the couple of preview-pages on amazon.com it definitely sounded like something for me. I can relate completely to the “food noise” she talks about. And her story sounds a lot like what I’m struggling with – the binging, the knocking myself down about what I eat etc.
Have you read the book, what did you think?
I also want to get Master Your Metabolism by Jillian Michaels, is it worth it?
Yup folks, despite my Photoshop having died on me I found an alternative way to crop and re-size my photos so that I can give you a real post! A little something called “Paint”. Gah, I cannot believe I am using that program, just saying it makes me cringe slightly. But beggars can’t be choosers and all that…
So, here’s a post of random pictures from a long time ago and more recently. Enjoy!
Soy milk, fresh swedish blueberries, 1/2 banana and whole grain unsweetened cereal.
Breakfast carried out on the porch on Friday - whole grain roll, laughing cow light cheese, whole grain unsweetened cereal with banana, red currants and soy milk, begal spice tea with soy milk, grapes
Whole wheat roll with laughing cow light cheese, turkish yoghurt with peach and grapes on the side.
Hot chocolate at a café with my sister on evening.
Whole wheat pasta salad with a turkish yoghurt as "dressing" and corn on the side.
My pretty soy latte and mums regular latte (hers is the one with the star)
Saturday: a chévre sandwhich at a café along with a ice soy latte and the days newspaper.
Right now: I just baked vegan scones with red currants in them. (Mom requests them several times a month!)
And with that said I feel the need to point out that this is simply a very small fraction of what I have been eating lately. Truth is, I’ve been doing pretty bad. There’s been a lot of the sweet stuff, a lot of extra eating, munching and a whole lot of binging. I feel like that’s all I ever say when I write this blog, but unfortunatley it’s true. I have gained weight and I’m not happy about it because I was at my ideal “happy” weight around the time I went on my surf trip and since then it’s all been down the shittah.
Hope you are all doing good!! And remember to leave me a comment saying if you’d like the adress to my personal (and more frequently updated) blog.
Thank you all for your suggestions on my last post. I will be assembling a list for mommy dearest to bring along to the US, it’ll be exciting to see what she brings back home! I just wish I could go myself and spent like two days in Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.
I was actually going to do a real post today because I have quite a few photos to share but my Photoshop died yesterday (for some unknown reason, so annoying!) so I’m unable to crop/resize my photos right now.
Instead, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I’ve been living a double life! Nah, not really, but in the bloggie world I sort of have. Here’s the thing, this isn’t the only blog I write. I’ve been writing another blog for years, long before I even considered starting Facineating. My other blog is a lot more about who I am and what I do in my fashion life (and plain life too!)
As many of you know I have chosen to be quite anonymous on this blog, aside from my name and what I eat, I haven’t said much of anything else about myself. I know many of you have requested that I spill the beans about myself but I would rather not have people I know in real life find this blog.
So, if you want more updates from me and want to know more about me, leave a comment to this post and I’ll email you the adress to my other blog that I update (several times) daily. I will not be writing the adress to my other blog in this blog as I do not want Facineating in any way to be connected to my other blog. I am sure many of you can relate to this as I know a lot of you foodie bloggers out there would rather keep your blogs away from aquaintances in real life.
Ciao for now!
Hello beautiful ladies! Are you having a wonderful weekend so far? Today is the gay pride parade in Stockholm so I might go and check that out since today’s agenda is looking terribly empty as of right now.
But before that, a quick update –
Mom is going to the US in a couple of weeks to visit the relatives and has offered to try to bring me home some goodies if I give her a list. Happy days! So, in order not to miss anything absolutely fabulous, I’m asking for you foodie-experts advice. I’ve read about so many wonderful things on your blogs that are available in the US but, sadly, cannot be found here in La Súede. So, please give me suggestions of great foods or other things that I shoudl ask mom to stock up on. Here are a few things I have though of so far!
1. Peanut Butter Puffins
3. Peanut Butter & Co. PB
(What flavour should I get? I’m thinking White Chocolate Wonderful or Dark Chocolate Dreams)
What else? Give me suggestions!
Thanks hot mamas!
